                             RESOLUTION NO.   19957 
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT
                   A GRANT APPLICATION FOR AN URBAN AND
                   COMMUNITY FORESTRY ASSISTANCE FUND GRANT FOR
                   MATCHING FUNDS FOR AN URBAN FORESTRY INTERN
                   TO WORK WITH THE URBAN FORESTER DURING THE
                   SUMMER OF 1994, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS INCIDENT TO
                   THE ACCEPTANCE THEREOF.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to submit a grant application for an Urban and Community Forestry 

       Assistance Fund Grant for matching funds for an Urban Forestry
       Intern to work with the Urban Forester during the Summer of 1994, 

       and authorizing the Mayor to execute all necessary documents
       incident to the acceptance thereof.
